Beginning Tapestry Weaving
This two day course caters for complete beginners giving the opportunity to learn all the skills involved in producing woven tapestry. You will learn the basic skills needed to weave your own hangings from warping up to taking off the frame. You will make a small sampler concentrating either on texture or on shapes.
Exploring Tapestry Weaving
This is a three day course, allowing time for tapestry weavers with the basic skills to develop them further. You will think about the design of a piece before making a start. Individual advice and support for the development of your choice of subject will be freely given. Any necessary further skills will be taught.
